A match for dignity.

A girl I hate. The revolting, pretty piece of shit. A girl I hate as much as I hate Shristi. The overconfident, snobbish, mannerless girl who didn’t deserve to be called the best in the class. Nikita Hardikar. 99% of the guys fell for her. And I had to put up with these guys. Imagine yourself in my place. Instead of being a jerk, I had to sit in the corner looking at all my friends stare at her. All of you, you know how much I hate Shristi, don’t you? I don’t need to express my reasons for hating her.

A badminton match in which I could defeat her. She was in the school team. I wasn't particularly good at the sport but I enjoyed playing it. So it was decided. We had a match. After lots of hard work, she won the first game. 21-19. The next game. I was in the lead.20-10. Exactly at point of time, I fall down and hurt my chin badly. I see her laughing her normal, evil laugh on the other side. A fight for dignity. A fight for lost honour. A fight for fame I had taken pains to maintain. I get up. I moan. I can't move. Gathering strength in my arms I defeated her in the game.

The deciding game. The do-or-die situation. I knew her weak point. I fired. Hahaha. She loses the game.21-1.

I gained my lost honour and also my friends. I could see her crying. Such a peaceful sight. But you know me. My conscience has to force me to tell her that she played well. But anyway, she lost her pride after the match.

Last night i was thinking. No new thing but this time, no new problems with life.

This time, it was about the last day of our school(10th std.).

After that day, we won't see our friends as usually we used to.

No waking up early in the morning, no having a small, measly breakfast anymore.

Can't behave like school children anymore.

After 10 yrs. of school life(10 because i don't remember pre-primary), we'll have to leave it at last. Forget exams, harder are yet to come.

Importance of time. Life needs to be enjoyed. Friends are priceless. School life is priceless.

Enjoy your time, my friends. You'll regret not enjoying school later.

Waterfight

Do or die situation. A fight for dignity. A fight which will never end.....

A day when the girls raged against the boys.
Boys: Vaishnav, Kartikeya, Sanket
Girls: Namrata, Nidhi, Saee

The end of the day marked the beginning of the inevitable war. The boys were loaded with 3 Pearlpets & 1 Kinley. The girls possessed 4 Pearlpets.

Nidhi vs Kartikeya. Nidhi shoots. Kartik ducks. Soham is wet. Soham joins the fight. Soham fires. Mihika is wet. Now she donates her ammo to Nidhi. War begins. Firing on both sides. Many people injured. But then....

Uninvited guests appear. Chinmay betrays the boys. He cheats and throws muddy water on Vaishnav. He leaves.

Both the sides chase him. We fire him dead with our unity and courage.

The war thus showed us that we should stop fighting amongst ourselves and battle against those people who do not deserve to be called human.

We apologised to each other ending the war.

Most of the parts are not true. Do not mind the extravagant exaggeration.

10 June 2008

OK. So it was a Tuesday. I was in my van waiting to reach home safely. I was in a tempo traveller along with girls who i would not call crazy now as i've come under their influence and become crazy like them. I was THE ONLY GUY in that bus.

Now, I was bored and these people had no other work than to irritate me. I was trying to hide my frustration. And precisely at that point of time, Namrata asks me "Do you ever get angry?". Well, you know what, that is a very good question if you had known me then. But now, i do get angry. But forget it, that's not the point.

We were around 3 km. away away from my house. As far as I remember, I was with Namrata, Nidhi, Mihika and Tanvi.

The most unexpected of things happened. The bus broke down. Instead of worrying for that sake, Nidhi and Namrata insisted on having icecream. And as you would have wanted me to be, I said “Be practical.” That does not mean anything since even I wanted icecream but my conscience forbade me to. We all do many things which our conscience forbids us to. The previous sentence makes it clear that we did have icecream. In this process, we also met a schoolmate who assisted us in getting icecream.

When we came back, the driver asked us to push the bus. We did manage to push it with 100% help from a passer-by. But the bus refused to start. So we had to go by rickshaw. We were five big people and the rickshaw-wallah did not allow 5 people in a rickshaw. But after professional help and coaxing from the bus driver, we managed to get into 1 rickshaw. A painful experience for the girls as they were sitting in the back & I was sitting in the front. But later, I came back after one of the girls was dropped.

Ahead of us was a traffic jam. We were still around a km. from our houses. The traffic simply refused to move. So we had to get down to avoid further delay. We started walking. All people stared at us. Come on, I-the only guy along with three girls. But we endured it all.

Their house was not far from my house. In fact, my house wasn’t far from their house. So, after we reached their house, they advised me to pick up a rickshaw. But I had already exhausted 80% of my money. So, I continued walking. I reached my home in around 5 min.

I really don’t know whether I enjoyed this experience but it was certainly an entertaining incident in my not-so-dramatic life. Believe it or not, I haven’t yet told my mom that I had icecream. But I tell her that we had to walk.

This is a really small post and not even a good incident. But I hope you enjoyed it all(especially the characters in it).

Things that annoy me

1. Whenever i say something good/bad has happened 2 me, someone or the other turns up and says 'don't cry for such small things' and if its good 'that happened to me too,' intending to say 'this is nothing, i did it better than you'.

2.People say i should stop reading and start studying. Jeez, why the pissing hell have i scored good marks in the exams held the previous month if not to stop people saying the same thing over and over again?

3.When i'm writing a poem or something for personal satisfaction, someone snatches the thing from me and exclaims with surprise 'have u copied it from somewhere?'. Feel like strangling them.

4.For some people, non-violence means not hitting the person back. And if by mistake, you throw water over them and involuntarily say'BY MISTAKE', they grab hold of another bottle of water and empty the bottle over the head. REVENGE IS VIOLENCE, my dear friend.Have the people reading this really got the point of this point?

5.I left Symbiosis in 7th std.’s August and went to Mumbai. And now, I’m back in Pune and when I see them, they’ve lost all their sense of humour. Has anyone died since I left the school?

Girls

Gossip is their birthright
And they must have it
Only insult comes out of their mouth
None of them ever wins in a catfight.

Always under misconception
Some of them under inflation
Poking their nose everywhere
If shouted at, they will simply glare.

Emotions on their face
They trust anyone at a considerable pace
Ready to help anytime
Unless the object is covered with slime.

Pretty but not a beauty
They've it and they forget humanity
No point in treating them as precious as a gem
Although we can't live without them.

Music

Music is the soul of my life. Speak of entertainment and the first thing that comes to mind is music.
Let me tell you that a song does not entertain me. The song's music entertains me. For me, any sound heard is music. The sound produced while typing this is music. My mother shouting at me is music. Can't believe it, can you? We do not think of it as music because we are concentrating on what she is telling us, the lyrics. Now suppose, she is humming in the same loud tone, won't that sound melodious? Come on, think. When listening to 'In the End', the most beautiful part is when the piano is played. The lyrics are just added to give an impact. That is why, you like an instrumental more than the song.

If taken in a disciplined manner, there are two types of music-organised and inorganised. The songs we listen to are organised music and the exaples given above are inorganised.

I hope you all have understood what music is...

Love

He waited for her day and night
Beat around in his impatience with all his might
Then when she came
He said, the effect she created was to blame.

She walked like a queen
No intention of calling her mean
Moving her hands along the wheat
She approached him with her bare feet.

Her voice sounded melodious
The cuckoos were furious
To be with her was better than heaven
He had found his girl, like all men.

Her eyes took him away
To a land unknown to many, faraway
The sensation was of pure bliss
He forgot to call her even Miss.

She seemed to enchant him
He was in a trance, it did seem
A witch could have been no better
No wonder they live in gutter.

Spreading peace in his mind
Its true, love made him blind
Her face was radiant
Cannot be described salient.

Couldn't live a day without her
Everything was in a blur
He failed the test
Love was such a pest.

Every time she laughs a flower springs
More precious than the king of kings
He could've died of that attraction
He didn't, higher was the rate of inflation.

Her hair flowed like a river
Felt glad when went near
He had got what he dreamt about
His last wish now was to shout out.

I hope you enjoyed the funniest poem i've written. Can you guess who i'm referring to in this poem, can you???

Difference

The difference between difference & distinguish is different from the difference between distinguish & difference. If u can't see the difference, you're a very different person.. But in your point of view, I'm a very different person. A different person may see us very differently. But a doctor would have said that this is a different case and needs to be dealt differently. A normal person may say that this is a normal case and needs to be dealt normally. But the point is that there is a difference between the difference between difference & distinguish and the difference between distinguish & difference and i can see it.

Hey and did all of the people reading this read the 'love' poem i wrote, the modified funny one?

And if u haven't, tell me, i'll show it 2 you. Plzz don't take it the wrong way..{no one in my mind, the poem is based on a person we all know but can't figure out who, can you???}
